The health and safety of our Clients, Drivers, and our Teams is our number one priority every day, and particularly in face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a critical provider to the infrastructure of our community and in particular to the medical industry, we are operating as usual 24/7/365. We will continue to provide around the clock services throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
We have taken the following steps to support the safety of everyone:
Based on recommendations from federal and state government officials to close or significantly curtail non-essential retail operations, our office teams will begin to work remotely to support our clients and drivers. Consistent with CDC recommendations, we are working closely with our logistics teams on prevention, risk mitigation, and business continuity planning.
Specific measures include:
More robust cleaning guidelines are now required of all drivers, including wiping down all surfaces regularly.
Hand-sanitation is mandatory before each pickup and delivery and drivers have been provided with hand sanitizers, gloves, and wipes. Drivers have been informed to take care of obtaining signatures without physical contact.
Proactive communications will continue to deliver fact-based information to all employees and service delivery providers to avoid misinformation. We have instructed everyone to stay home if they are ill, to be tested if they believe they have been exposed to COVID-19 and to report any exposure, health concerns or travel to high-risk areas.We do not currently anticipate any impact on our delivery timelines due to COVID-19.
We will continue to monitor the situation in real-time and keep our community informed. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these uncertain times. We will remain fully staffed and willing, ready and able to assist with increased courier needs of our clients, if necessary.
